What’s New in the Teacher Atlas

Summer is here! Time to add some pop to the Atlas. Celebrate two more genres with the addition of the Popular and Jazz & Blues series to the Piano Adventures Teacher Atlas.

Each style has great choices across the six graded levels: PreTime® PlayTime® ShowTime®, ChordTime® FunTime®, and BigTime®, all from the well-known PreTime to BigTime Piano Library.

In the Popular books, you’ll find sensational pop tunes at just the right level. Enjoy songs from Harry Potter, Disney, Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom of the Opera, Star Wars, and more!

The Jazz & Blues series offers important jazz standards like In the Mood, Autumn Leaves, Misty, Take the “A” Train, and Tuxedo Junction.

Whether you’re teaching online or easing back to in-person lessons, we hope the Teacher Atlas is a convenient resource to enhance your studio teaching. Happy summer, happy teaching!

What is the easiest way to get the atlas on my iPad? Every time I try to find it, it asks for my password. Is there an easy way?

To visit the Atlas, go to https://cloud.pianoadventures.com/products/teacher-atlas/
The Atlas is also linked from the Teacher Resources page on pianoadventures.com

If you are not signed in (such as if you are switching between devices), then click Sign In and enter your name and password.

You can change your password from your account page. You may be interested in using a “passphrase” that you come up with, or is generated randomly for you with a tool like https://www.useapassphrase.com . Research has shown that four words together make a “memorable but incredibly difficult to guess” passphrase.

You can make a bookmark for yourself to easily revisit the Atlas from your browser, or even add the Atlas to your home screen and launch it like an app. Here are Apple’s instructions for how to save it as a favorite: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/bookmark-favorite-webpages-iph42ab2f3a7/ios

I’m hoping the Popular Repertoire will also be added.
