What’s New in the Teacher Atlas?

The Piano Adventures Teacher Atlas is your “travel map” for easy navigation through the method books and supplements of Nancy and Randall Faber. Use it for online teaching everyday, and as a convenient reference library for lesson planning, exploration, and reinforcement. Today we are pleased to announce these new additions:

Sightreading Series (9 Books) – This innovative collection uses carefully composed variations on the Lesson Book pieces. Students see the “new” against the “familiar” and learn to chunk musical patterns. You’ll find the Sightreading books organized by level in the Teacher Atlas.

Primer Level Teacher Guide – Get inspired to analyze, create, and express with your Primer students! This second edition includes comprehensive support for teaching beginning students. You’ll have access to lesson plans, tips for reinforcing concepts and skills, and over 60 model teaching videos featuring Nancy Faber working with young students. Review and reflect with 20 new pedagogy articles and “ask yourself” study questions. Prepare for group activities with new ensemble parts, stories, and extended teacher duets.

New Interactive Primer Lesson Book – Now every song page in the Primer Lesson Book includes links to the Teacher Guide, teaching video, and backing track for that song. This comprehensive teacher reference offers a new level of multimedia support for greater understanding and ease of use.

Starting this summer, all Atlas subscribers will automatically receive access to Faber Technique & Artistry — 150 technique videos for elementary-to-advanced teaching and playing. With new content coming online every month, the Piano Adventures Teacher Atlas is yours to explore!
