Ah, Dame Maggie... the great actress speaking great lines. And those scenes reminded me that I spent quite a bit of time admiring the gorgeous dresses.

Okay, I know Downtown Abbey is a popular show with people. I watched the first episode (season 1) on Netflix and wasn't that impressed. I'm guessing it gets better and I should go ahead and continue with the rest...?

I just finished the reunion episode of As Time Goes By, with Dame Judi Dench and Geoffrey Palmer, etc. I LOVE that show, probably the only Britcom I ever got into! I am collecting the Seasons when I can find them on sale (used).

Oh yes, the fun really starts with Episode 2 of Season 1.

Are any Aussies on the list familiar with "McLeod's Daughters?" We found it on Netflix, and so far it is good.

Oh wow, we rented the movie "Temple Grandin" this weekend. It was EXCELLENT! How did I not already know about this amazing woman?
