Your volunteer resource teacher is Lilla Carlisle. Lilla has been teaching, accompanying, and performing almost all her life, having worked in a family-run chain of music stores from a very young age. Lilla received her formal musical education at Augustana College, concentrating on pipe organ and piano. Lilla currently teaches privately from her home in Chicago as well as teaching disabled students for a special education park district. She is currently on the board of the local musicians’ group and participates in the management of local festivals and competitions.
